First Challenge for the Scrapping Chics May~ 2011

Good Morning!  I hope everyone is having a Super Sunday!!  I am so honored and happy to be bringing you this post.  This is the first Challenge we are having for the New Scrappin Chics Blog DT.  This is very new for all of us on this DT, so I will ask for everyone to bare with us as we learn and improve.  So for the Month of May, we were asked to create three (3) projects.  Today I will be showing you my first Project.  The Theme is "Kitchen".  So Here you go:

I used my Kate's kitchen Imagine Cart to create this fun and playful Menu Board.  It's small enough for my 8 year to hang in her kitchen.  I used a small cookie sheet for the backing and just painted and distressed it.  then I attached a chalk to it.  Super simple and so much fun to make.  I really hope you all enjoyed this.  To see all the DT projects you can go to Scrappin Chic Challenge Blog ~ http://scrappinchicschallenge.blogspot.com/2011/05/our-first-challenge-kitchen-theme.html

Once again Thank you so much for stopping by.

HUGS,
Martha

  2. This is really a cute idea. My daughter is a 4th grade teacher and writes the lunch menu on the board everyday. This would be a cute present for her to add to the classroom. TFS, Tami
