My Gift card Holder (Halloween)

Hello everyone, well I just wanted to share this project I made.  Last week My Creative Time featured their latest release, in which there was a die for a gift card holder.  It was so popular that, it sold out super fast.  I did however manage to place my order.  while I wait for my wonderful die to arrive, I decided to try and make a gift card holder myself.  So I studied the pics on Emma's blog and this is what I came up with.  I took pics of how I made it, so if anyone wants to try it, they are more than welcome to.

Then I decordated my card with a bunch of scraps from my stash.  I heat embossed the Boo punck with silver metalic powder.  I punched a ticket out of some card stock and stamped the Boo sentiment from My Creative Time New Stamp Set "Small Talk", then used some orange twine as an accent.  I covered the back with plain black card stock.

On the inside of the card I stamped the To and From from My Creative Time New Stamp Set Gift Cards Sentiments.

So there you have it, I hope you like it.  Plan on make more this way until I get my die in the mail.  Thanks for stopping by and have a Great day.

"Unusual" Mini Album Blog Hop

Good morning!!  Welcome to the Unusual Mini Album Blog Hop... hosted by Scrapbooking Technique.  First off I want to thank, Christine Cooper Hatchell, for inviting me to be a part of this.  I love mini albums, because they are just too easy and lots of fun me make.  They make the perfect gifts.  If you arrived here from Jess Kinderstampo www.kinderstampo.com , then you are in the right place, if not you will want to start at the beginning with Christine www.scrapbookingtechnique.blogspot.com .

So I decided to feature two mini albums.  The first one is made out of toilet paper rolls.  I took some Tim Holtz Distress inks and cover the rolls, then just decorated them with some scraps I had in my stash.  I used some of KinderStampO Vintage findings, brass charms (which I love).  lots and lots of ribbon and some other metal charms.  This mini was inspired by the journey that I am on now.  I wanted to share with you all how much my life has changed since I started working out and just living a healthier lifestyle.  So you will see a lot of pics of me, okay here it is....

I use my Cinch to bind the album together.  I have to say this is my favorite tool to use for binding.  There are a total of 16 pics in this mini album.  So for my second mini album I wanted to show off this mini I made a while back, I hate to say this but I don't remember when I left the instructions on how to make it.  I  am so sorry.  But I still wanted to share it with you all.  Here it is.

The Album opens up and looks like a merry go round.  It is held open by two magnets on each end of album.  I have featured this mini back when I first made it, so I am think I will look back and try to find the instructions.  For now I hope you have enjoyed the pics.  Okay, so now for some blog Candy!!!  I will be giving away a QuicKutz Embossing folder School or fall theme "Apples"  This folder can be used with any die cutting or embossing machine.  perfect for your A2 Cards.  All you have to do is leave a comment and a way for me to reach you.  I will pick a winner on the 24th of August.  You don't have to be a follower but if you like what you see, I would love to have you follow my blog.

Now on to your next stop which is Tiara www.imacraftysista.blogspot.com , I have included the complete line up in case you get lost.  I hope you have enjoyed my mini's.  Thank you for stopping by and have a Great weekend.
