Welcome to the "I'd Rather Be At The Beach" Blog Hop. This blog hop runs from May 18-22. If you are coming from Elsa's blog ~ http://justafewdesigns.blogspot.com , you’re on the right track. If you just joined us, you can go back to the beginning HERE to http://www.createserendipity.net/) and hop along with us. We’ve had so much fun creating this hop, and we have a wonderful line up with some oh-so-talented crafters. You will find loads of projects with a beachy theme throughout this hop! If you love the beach as much as we all do, then you won't want to miss this one! We have LOTS of blog candy to offer! Please check back daily for your chance to win!
For my first project, I wanted to create something, I would be able to display in our Family room. Every year I search for just the right picture frame to use with all the pictures I take when we visit the Beach. None really catch my attention, so I made one, just to my liking.
So What do you think? I used some Tim Holtz Distress paint (Rock Candy) to keep the sand from coming off. It worked!! and it even cracked a little, which was super!
So I do have blog candy but, since this a 5 day hop, I will be announcing what my giveaway is on the last day of the Hop. So you will have to come back. In order to be entered, you must leave a comment on each day of this hop and be a follower of my blog. That's it. Okay, now onto your next stop with Dana ~ http://danascraftycorner.blogspot.com. Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you again, tomorrow. Have a Great Day!!!
HUGS,
Martha
This is great! I always create my own frames when I am lucy enough to visit an ocean. I think they are so special and one of my favorite treasures. Nice work! Hope I can make it back to be entered!
