World Cardmaking Day Blog Hop

Good Morning!!!  Can you Believe it!!  We are in October now!!!  First I need to thank Joy for inviting me to be a part of this fun hop.  Okay well, Thank you so much for joining us for this fun filled hop.... So today is World Cardmaking Day and it's the 1st of October so what better way to get you in a ghostly mode than by featuring lots of spooky cards!  If you came here from  Margie - http://bellabugcreations.blogspot.com/, then you are in the right place.  If not, you will want to start from the beginning with  Joy - http://www.joyslife.com/.   So for my card I wanted something a little different, so I created this fun bi-fold card with a window.  Now this is not my design, but sadly I don't remember where I saw this, but I promise I will look for the link.  It does require some work, but when you put it all together it is so worth it!!  Oh, wait, just remembered where I saw this!!!!!  You can go to www.sizzix.com and look for the tutorial on their site.  So here is my card, I hope you will enjoy it and I would love to hear what you think.

Yup!!!  It is a pop up card!!!  I just love this die!!!  Too much fun and when you see how they (Sizzix) uses this die in other ways, you will just want to get it!!!

For the Sentiment I use the "Boo" from Halloween Puns Stamp set - www.joyslife.com.  If you have never tried Joy's stamp, you need to head on over to her shop and take a look at all the wonderful sets she has to offer.  Great stamps!!!  Okay, So Now for some blog candy....

Okay before you leave just wanted to share a last minute project I was working on.... not a card but I thought you would enjoy it just the same.  Will be giving these out to the staff at my school....Enjoy;)

super easy to make, paper bag, used the Tim Holtz on the edge die cut, the Spellbinders Nestabilities long classic scalloped rectangles, the QuicKutz witch die cut, the QuicKutz Nesting rick rack circles die set and the sentiment came from Joy'sLife Halloween Puns Stamp set, from www.joyslife.com , a hole punch and some ribbon.  The perfect treat bag for our staff!!!
