I'm BACK!!!!!

It's been a long while since I've posted or even created anything crafty.  Moving and going back to school took some adjusting to.  But now everything is coming together and I am learning to incorporate all the things I love with all the new things in my life.  I am excited to get back to my crafting and sharing what I love.  I hope that all of you that have followed me in the past will continue to do so.   I promise to enchant you with all my new and wonderful ideas and creations.  let's get this party started!!!!

Throwback Thursday with My Creative Time

Good morning and I hope you are having a great day.  It has been a while since I have done any kind of challenge or posted on my blog for that matter.  Life sometimes gets in the way.  But enough of that, I wanted to share my entry for the Throwback Thursday Challenge over at My Creative Time, with Emma.  There are tons of stamp and die companies out now, but I really enjoy her creations and the quality of her products and customer service.  Hope you enjoy my project it is a Heart Treat box holder, this file came from Design Cloud9, love their cutting files.  I made about 30 of these for my daughter's 3rd grade class.

For this project I used a very tiny stamp from one of Emma's first collections "You Had me at Chocolate" stamp set.  This was perfect for the tiny heart tag I made for each box.

Joy'sLife.com Design Team Challenge - Metal Team 1

Good Morning!  Welcome to our first DT Challenge for 2012!!!!  This week we were challenged to create something using Metal!  Oh, the possibilities..... So I decided, since Valentine's Day is just around the corner, why not create a Layout that I can use for our Annual Picture.  So this is what I cam up with.

I used a sheet metal for this LO.  So that I could make some magnets with the stamped words.  For the words I used the Everyday Occasion Stamp set from Joyslife.com.  I made the words into magnets so I can move them around.

Winter Holiday Blog Hop

Good morning, so happy you could join us for this fun Hop.  If you came here from Yolanda Anthony - http://www.craftyscentiments.blogspot.com, then you are in the right place.  If not please start at the beginning with Denise Lewis - VinDeeLoo - http://vindeeloosthisnthat.blogspot.com .   This Hop is for fun and we were asked to create something related to Winter/Christmas... So I made a couple of items to decorate my living room.  Very simple projects.  I printed this word collage and then just framed it, next I printed out some digital prints and made a simple banner and attached it to some ribbon.  For my third project I took a Styrofoam cone and covered it with red glitter, then hot glued it to a glass candle holder and voila!!!

3D Project - Joy's Life Stamps Design Team

Good morning, everyone.  I am so happy to be able to bring you my latest creation.  using some Amazing Stamps!!!  For this weeks Challenge we were asked to create a 3D project.  Funny fact- I had just purchased a die cut that did just that.  So I was able to put this die to good use.  This is what I came up with:

Surprise!!!!!!  When I use putting this little gift box together, I really couldn't see it take shape but then slowly, I saw it and it made me giggle!  I have listed everything I used to make this fun card.  For the sentiment on this card I used the Wintery Puns Stamp set from Joy's Life.  You can find this set and many more here at here site www.joyslife.com .  Don't forget to go and checkout the rest of the DT's creations.

Color it Monday

Good Morning, I am so happy to be able to take part in this week's DT Challenges.  I have been away for a while, so I have a lot of making up to do.  So Happy you could join us for this week's Color it Monday.  This weeks colors where a little bit of everything, so I decided to make a very simple card.  I really like the way it turned out, so I have decided that, this will be My Christmas card I send out. 

For this card I used an SVG file cut from SVGcuts.com, I just love all their cut files.  For the sentiment I used the Vintage and Traditional Holiday stamp set.  Perfect for this card.  So there you have it.  I hope you will join in on the fun and create something wonderful as well.  Don't forget to checkout the rest of the wonderful creations from the other members of the KinderStampO Design Team.  Again, thanks for stopping by....

Holiday Card Blog Hop - Joy's Life Design Team

Give Thanks Blog Hop Nov. 19th & 18th

Good morning, Thank you so much for hopping along with us.  Thanksgiving already!!!  Where did the year go??? So I hop that you have been to all the stops and have enjoyed all the wonderful projects.  If you arrived here from 9. Well, here we are Thanksgiving already!!  This year has just flown by.... So for this hop we were asked to create something with a Thanksgiving theme.  I decided I wanted to make something that I would be able to change around and leave up after the holiday.  So I came up with an idea to create a Thanksgiving Tree. 

 Now my Tree is more of an arrangement, but I really like how it turned out. I simply punched out some pumpkins and circles and then stamped some sentiments using the All Around Sentiments Stamp set from joyslife.com . If you are interested in see just what kind of stamps Joy has to offer click hewww.joyslife.comre. for the base of the arrangement I used a glass jar and filled it with some sand to weigh it down. Then I wrapped some straw ribbon around the rim and added a flower to it. Really simple and fast.  I figure after Thanksgiving I can just remove the sentiments and change out the ribbon and use it as a center piece for my kitchen table. So there you have it.
